Wildfire non-renewal moratorium lookup by ZIP
After a declared wildfire emergency, the California Department of Insurance (CDI) issues bulletins naming ZIP codes where insurers may not cancel or non-renew residential policies because of wildfire risk for one year (Insurance Code §675.1, SB 824). Enter a ZIP code to check. Data as of —.

Each period runs one year from the Governor's emergency declaration date stated in the bulletin. "Expired" is calculated from that date. CDI or the Legislature can extend or add protections, so check the CDI bulletins page and the CDI wildfire non-renewal page (which lists older 2019 moratoriums, all long expired). A moratorium covers non-renewals for wildfire risk; it is not a promise of coverage or of a particular price.
